Clean the dispensing system properly

Cleaning a dispensing system is essential to ensure beer quality and maintain hygienic standards. Cleaning should be done regularly, ideally every two weeks, to prevent deposits and bacterial growth.

First, all beer lines should be disconnected from the system and the taps removed. These parts must be thoroughly soaked in a special cleaning solution to remove any residue. Afterward, the beer lines should be rinsed with a suitable cleaning brush and hose. It's important that the solution has sufficient time to dissolve all deposits.

Afterwards, the entire dispensing system, including the seals, valves, and couplings, should be rinsed with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning solution. It is crucial to dry all parts thoroughly before reassembly to prevent the growth of mold or bacteria.

It's also recommended to supplement the cleaning procedure with a special beer line brush to remove stubborn residue. Finally, the dispensing system should be checked again for any leaks to ensure everything is functioning properly.

This thorough cleaning of the dispensing system not only preserves the beer quality, but also extends the service life of the system and ensures hygienically perfect operation.
