2 kg Mixed Gas 70/30 Owned Cylinder– The Secret to the Perfect Stout
Experience authentic pub enjoyment right in your home or catering establishment. Our mixed gas (70% nitrogen / 30% carbon dioxide) is the indispensable component for anyone who wants to serve Guinness, Kilkenny, or other classic stout and cream beers exactly as they were intended: with a creamy, stable head and a velvety texture.
Why 70/30 Mixed Gas?
While conventional beer is tapped with pure CO2, stouts require a higher nitrogen content (N2). The nitrogen creates the famous tiny bubbles and the visually impressive "cascade effect" in the glass. At the same time, the 30% CO2 content prevents the beer from tasting flat, without over-carbonating it.
Top Features at a Glance:
Premium Quality: High-quality food-grade mixed gas according to E290 (CO2) and E941 (N2).
Perfect Pour: Enables the characteristic, fine-pored "cream head."
Versatile Use: Ideal for Guinness, Kilkenny, Murphy's, and many craft stout creations.
Compact & Economical: The 2 kg cylinder is handy and sufficient for approx. 300 to 400 liters of beer (depending on tap pressure).
Safety: New owned cylinder, carrying handle/cap protection, and TÜV approval.
Application Note:
Please note that a special nitrogen pressure reducer or a combined pressure reducer for mixed gas is required for operating this cylinder. Standard carbon dioxide pressure reducers are usually not suitable due to the W connection.
